Where to stay in Keene Valley

Trail’s End Inn is the perfect place to unwind for a short stay. Forests and mountains surround the country inn. Visitors can choose between rooms, suites with fireplaces and whirlpools, a loft, and a cottage.

The common areas are inviting and relaxing, and so is the wonderful big front porch, where you can watch deer running through the property.

If the weather is not cooperating, there are board games, books and movies in the common area where visitors can lounge on comfortable couches and chairs. I especially appreciated a warm cup of coffee in front of the fireplace!

The inn offers coffee and a delicious healthy breakfast every morning, which we took advantage of during our stay. There is also a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and snacks.

This short but fun hiking adventure in Keene Valley was a memorable experience. The hiker in me enjoyed being surrounded by forests and mountains. My Trail’s End Inn stay was fantastic, and I will return in the future. So many more hiking trails need exploring!
